Britain Attacked; Donald Trump condones Theresa May

Britain was thrown into shock on Wednesday when a terrorist attack was carried out outside the British Parliament at about 2:40 pm, which left 5 people dead, including a police man, and many others injured.
It all began when the driver of a car drove along the Westminster Bridge which leads to the House of Commons, mowing down pedestrians in the process and also stabbed a policeman close to the British parliament.

The police called the incident a "marauding terrorist attack, and has confirmed that 5 persons lost there lives which" included the assailant and the policeman he stabbed. The other three victims were among those hit by the car as it sped across Westminster Bridge before crashing into railings just outside parliament.

British Prime Minister Theresa May condemned the attack as "sick and depraved." she said:

"The location of this attack was no accident," she said in a statement outside her 10 Downing Street office late in the evening.
"The terrorist chose to strike at the heart of our capital city, where people of all nationalities, religions and cultures come together to celebrate the values of liberty, democracy and freedom of speech."

The attacker after hitting unsuspecting pedestrians, came down from the car after the crash and sprinted to Parliament where Theresa May had been answering Prime Minster's Questions in front of hundreds of MPs, there he went on a stabbing spree and stabbed to death an armed police officer guarding the parliament.

This is the deadliest attack in London since four British Islamist killed 52 passengers and themselves in suicide bombings on the city's transport system in July 2005.

The attacker was however stopped when he was fatally shot by police.

Westminster police bundled British Prime Minister Theresa May into a car during the attack and rushed her away from Parliament. The police said they were treating the attack as an act of terrorism, which makes it the most serious assault in London since the deadly subway bombings more than 10 years ago.

Ambulances, emergency vehicles and heavily armed security officers were seen along the area outside the House of Commons after the attack.

Meanwhile, the US president Donald Trump has spoken to the British Prime Minister and offered his condolences for the attack, this was revealed through the Presidents Twitter account.
