A local vigilante with the Imo Security Network, was accidentally shot dead by one of his colleague, Chidi Onyenekwu from Oru East LGA, during one of their operations.
According to a report by a Facebook user, Ugonna Chiji Achuko, while on a security operation, the officer shot into the air and forgot to return the trigger. A slight movement saw other bullets being shot from his pump action rifle. The deceased was hit on the right chest by one of the bullets.leading to his death.
