There was an altercation on board a Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM) flight about to depart from Schiphol, Amsterdam to Lagos on Sunday, April 9th, was the scene of an altercation when a Nigerian man was brought aboard in handcuffs.This lead to other Nigerians on board the plane to protest against the man being chained like a hardened criminal.
In the video which has gone viral, fellow travelers could be heard demanding that the man in handcuffs be removed from the plane.
"Nobody deserves to be treated this way" one of them is heard saying"
Police was reportedly called in and the man was eventually unshackled after more and more people joined the protest.
The plane took off behind schedule.
