There is an ongoing diplomatic tension between the United States and North Korea after North Korea's supreme leader Kim Jong-Un fired ballistic missiles towards Japan on Tuesday.
This is coming ahead of US President Donald Trump's meeting with China's President Xi Jinping this month, North Korea's missile launch on Tuesday was seen as a warning signal to the West, especially if the global community speeds up sanctions over its latest round of weapons tests.
The missile launch which was confirmed by the U.S Military and South Korea’s military said N.Korea fired the missile from the Sinpo region on its east coast 60km into the sea off the Korean Peninsula .
A US Military official said: "US Pacific Command is fully committed to working closely with our Republic of Korea and Japanese allies to maintain security".
However, "The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) determined the missile launch from North Korea did not pose a threat to North America."
Speaking on Tuesday, US President Donald Trump called North Korea & Kim Jong-Un a "humanity problem.", after which a White House official said that all options are on the table for the US, stating that the North Korean leaders time was up.
Meanwhile, North Korea has appeared unfazed and has continued to maintain their rhetoric of continual missile launches and a possible war.
A North Korean ministry spokesman told the official KCNA news agency.
"Now that the US fails to face up to the trend of times but incites confrontation to strangle the DPRK (North Korea), the DPRK is left with no option but to take necessary counteraction against it.
"The world will soon witness what eventful steps the DPRK will take to frustrate the hideous and reckless sanctions racket,"
